Measuring social value
How we ensure tangible benefits for communities
We continually enhance our approach to creating Social Value (SV) and recognise the need to track our progress reliably. To achieve this, we partner with Thrive, a leading social impact measurement tool, which helps us quantify SV initiatives using standardised metrics from the Impact Evaluation Standard (IES).
Thrive enables us to log each initiative, calculate economic and SV contributions and measure the tangible benefits delivered to communities. Since adopting Thrive in 2021, we've generated over £17.6 million in SV and are committed to building on this impact, year after year, as a core measure of our success.
