Through volunteering and collaboration, our people help enhance local environments and improve wellbeing
Our commitment to social value extends beyond our projects - it’s embedded in how our people give their time and expertise. Every G&T employee is given a dedicated volunteering day each year, providing the opportunity to contribute time and skills to causes that matter to them. Many of our teams choose to take part in group activities, combining collaboration with community impact.
In 2025, our people came together across the UK to support a wide range of local initiatives - from urban farms and wetlands to hospices and community parks - helping to enhance natural environments, strengthen local connections and improve wellbeing.
Since 2021, G&T employees have collectively completed more than 4,700 volunteering hours, demonstrating our ongoing commitment to giving back to the communities where we live and work.
