The unique work and community space for women from creative backgrounds offers a mix of meeting room, social, fitness and hospitality spaces to support a culture for networking and socialising.

Drawing on our extensive experience of delivering London real estate projects on behalf of US-based clients such as facebook, Soul Cycle and Convene, we were able to establish local partnerships to ensure that the design was compliant with UK Building Regulations and that MEP systems, finishes, materials and furniture could be procured within The Wing's development budget and delivered within the ambitious construction programme.

Our Strategic Asset Management & Facilities Management team worked closely with the client to develop and procure a bespoke FM strategy for this exciting new space in central London. It was crucial that the solution was agile and able to deliver top class FM services to members.

To achieve this, the strategy blends self-delivered front-of-house, catering and management services whereas maintenance, specialist cleaning and security services are delivered by a specialist FM supplier. Working at pace, G&T ensured that the female-led FM team was in place to welcome members on opening.

The space itself spans across a five floor townhouse in the heart of Fitzrovia and is The Wing’s largest site to date. The interior scheme was as much part of the development as the vision and idea itself, where diversity of style and design was key to the overall picture. The interior design team, led by Laetitia Gorra, created a collaboration between British and European styles that can be seen across the different locations within the space - where inspiration was taken from cities such as Barcelona, Paris and London.

Working with The Wing on their first international space was a great opportunity to work with a diverse team from different backgrounds all working together to realise a unique and soulful end product.

It was a pleasure working with such a professional group of women across industries to help bring the vision of our first international location of The Wing to life.
