The Whiteley is going to re-imagine the Grade II Listed building that was once Britain’s first ever department store.
The Whiteley brings together modern architecture with retained and restored Grade II Listed features to provide 139 high specification residences, 20 new shops, cafés and restaurants, a cinema, state-of-the-art gym and the UK's first Six Senses hotel and spa with a members' social and wellness club.
The original Grade II Listed collonaded façade, famous clock and dome will all be preserved with a new public courtyard created in the centre of the building. The grand staircase will be incorporated into the hotel.
