The Stage

Located in the heart of Shoreditch, this new mixed-use development comprises a 37-storey residential tower, two commercial buildings, The Stage (the remains of the Shakespearean Curtain Theatre) and two purpose-built restaurants together with retail space and over an acre of public realm.

The development also includes a 19th Century railway viaduct, the top of which has been made into a park.

The remains of the original theatre, where Shakespeare once performed and where Romeo and Juliet and Henry V are believed to have premiered, have been excavated and transformed into a tourist attraction with a visitor centre and glass viewing platform over the remains.
