The Osterley Campus Landscaping project is the next stage in the transformation of the SKY campus, integrating the new SKY Innovation Centre (Labs), Pavilion and surrounding gardens as well as improving the pedestrian experience.
Currently used as an entrance for the flagship Sky Studios and Sky News buildings, the plaza will create a central campus destination with a new lawn and 79 new trees. As well as the new lawn area, space will be provided for café seating, kiosks, events and outside broadcasts.
The SKY Innovation Centre has achieved BREEAM 'Outstanding' and WELL 'Platinum'. The SKY Pavilion - a 250-seat CLT and Glulam restaurant - also sits on the same plot and won Client of the Year, Retail Project of the Year, Engineer of the Year and Pioneer (Engineer) of the Year at this year's Structural Timber Awards.
