This 16-bed new-build ward provides state-of-the-art accommodation for older adults with complex mental health illnesses and is part of a NHSE national drive to eradicate 'dormitory' style wards.
The building provides a high quality environment for both patients and staff with the new facility expanding the Trust's capacity from 10 to 16 beds, including ensuite bedrooms, a dementia friendly layout, dedicated spaces for therapies and four new gardens.
The project was delivered via the NHS ProCure22 Framework.
