A new green and sustainable neighbourhood for Salford
Meeting the needs of future generations
The new neighbourhood will comprise 3,200 homes across 10 buildings ranging from eight to 78 storeys - the UK's tallest tower outside London. The development also includes a linear park and new public realm, which will be the centre piece of the scheme.
The buildings have been designed with a focus on minimising the mass of their superstructure and building core sizes to reduce embodied carbon while the new public space features sustainable drainage systems and extensive planting with more than 150 new trees to significantly boost biodiversity.
The new neighbourhood is targeting BREEAM 'Outstanding' and will include cycle parking, EV charging points, new smart technology and green roofs.
