The residential element will provide a mix of private homes and build to rent flats, while the office space will be capable of catering for either multi-let or single let opportunities. Plans also include space for independent retail outlets and a gym to promote health and wellness in the community.
A central courtyard/plaza will link to the adjacent George V park. The external space is being maximised by concealing car parking below an elevated landscape podium deck. Enhanced pedestrian connections will sensitively link the development to the city's historic streets and gardens.
The project is being developed by Orion Capital Managers who purchased the 5.9 acre site in 2019. A number of public consultation events have been held to engage with local residents during the planning stage.
