The laboratory systems upgrade programme is a global digital infrastructure deployment being implemented across a pharmaceutical client's manufacturing network to ensure data integrity, regulatory compliance and enable better analysis across different product forms.

The programme is split into three phases, with G&T providing Project Controls solutions from the outset to support this complex deployment utilising an agile delivery approach.  This work is being managed remotely from the UK, in collaboration with teams in the US, Europe and Asia.

The programme has combined significant business change with the introduction of new technology and required us to adapt our traditional project controls approach to new deployment methodologies.  Through the phased delivery we have gathered valuable standardised data and key lessons to support future phases.
