This new mixed-use development is creating a new quarter for people to live, work and play in Bristol. The existing 1970s commercial buildings of Natwest Court and Grade II Listed façades on Broad Street, including the Edward Everard Art Noveau façade, are at the heart of the Everards Printworks redevelopment.
They now form the new Dalata Clayton Hotel, ensuring greater sustainability through the re-use of the existing buildings.
The development has been designed for future connection to the Bristol Heat Network and also incorporates renewable technologies, including photovoltaics and air source heat pumps.
A key consideration of this project was to bring activity and public use to a previously neglected part of the city and renowned graffiti artists have developed a number of original artworks to enrich the new public realm, building on Bristol's legacy of street art.
