Designed by Pilbrow and Partners, the 255,000 sq ft building comprises 26 floors of commercial office space with a coffee bar on the ground floor open to the public.
The development comprises zoned office space constructed using timber with interconnected floorplates to encourage collaboration across floors and teams. The scheme will also provide a gym and bike parking, as well as the introduction of a new public park in the space next to the building.
The designs also include planted balconies, underfloor air supply with natural ventilation to improve air quality and floor to ceiling windows. Sensors will monitor how space is being used so specific areas can be heated or cooled in a more targeted way.
We are proud to help deliver this development working alongside the project team to create a building with sustainability and wellbeing at its core. Using natural materials, interconnected floorplates and the introduction of a new public park for the local community this scheme promotes positive health and wellbeing for all.
We aim to make EDGE London Bridge the most sustainable office tower in London, offering high quality office space with the highest wellbeing standards. We aim to make a significant and sustainable impact on further development in London, without losing sight of the history and heritage that is part of London’s appeal.
