Following the most significant modernisation project in the gallery's history, visitors are now able to enjoy one of the UK's greatest art collections across refurbished galleries alongside new spaces for temporary exhibitions and a new visitor welcome area on the ground floor.
Supported by £11m from The National Lottery Heritage Fund, improvements include step-free entrance access, new display cabinets, widened doors and standardised floor levels between rooms.
Teaching and research facilities within The Courtauld's world-leading Department of Conservation have also been refurbished and enhanced.
