Reshaping FM
for community healthcare

Supporting smarter estates delivery across the Trust's portfolio

Challenge

Faced with the need to modernise the delivery of Facilities Management (FM) services across a broad and varied estate, the Trust engaged G&T to determine the most appropriate service delivery model for its community healthcare portfolio. With operational continuity, stakeholder alignment and value for money all critical priorities, the next phase required a full procurement of outsourced Total FM services - on a tight timeline and within a highly regulated healthcare environment.

Solution

Following our strategic service delivery review, G&T was retained to manage the end-to-end procurement process. We engaged early with key stakeholders and the market to inform a robust and realistic contract approach. We developed a full suite of NEC4 Facilities Management Contract (FMC) compliant documentation, including technical specifications, pricing model, performance regime and KPIs. Our team supported tender evaluation, contract award, and mobilisation—and we are now providing post-Go Live transition support to ensure a smooth operational handover.

Outcome

The project was delivered on time, with a contract that reflects current best practice in healthcare FM delivery. It has been tailored to the Trust’s evolving operational needs, enabling greater service accountability, clearer performance expectations and improved commercial governance. G&T’s involvement has helped lay the foundation for a modern, responsive and outcomes-driven FM partnership across the Trust’s community estate.
