From Rolls Royce manufacturing to logistics-led development
Supporting Liverpool's new Freeport status
Works on the former manufacturing site will be undertaken over three phases to create one of the region's best-in-class logistics developments.
Phase 1 involves the demolition of existing offices buildings and industrial units, phase 2 includes the construction of four new industrial units of 350,000 sq ft while phase 3 will see the construction of three new industrial units totalling 440,000 sq ft.
The scheme is targeting BREEAM 'Excellent' as well as EPC 'A' and is designed to have minimal embodied and operational carbon impact. Each unit will feature roof mounted solar panels as standard and all buildings will have charge points for electric vehicles.
