G&T has supported Pearson, a FTSE 100 Education company, with the transformation of its London headquarters in the iconic Grade II Listed building at 80 Strand.
The project involves a significant change of model from a traditional style of office into a modern, flexible space to suit the firm's evolving business needs, reflecting a "digital first" approach with collaboration and recreational spaces as well as the integration of smart building technologies.
The scope of works covered over 270,000 sq ft of refurbishment and fit-out of space with the original brief being to retain as many elements of the existing infrastructure as possible in order to optimise cost.
Our role comprised managing all aspects of the budget including the fit-out, fees, technology, AV and furniture. The Pearson space completed at the end of September.
